Chapala Country Club Golf Course

Chapala Country Club

Information

The golf course is built along the side of a mountain, with incredible views of Lake Chapala and the surrounding mountains.

The holes have varying elevations and provide almost every conceivable lie. You will be challenged with blind shots, water shots, tree-lined streets, and doglegs. You will enjoy practicing on a large-scale driving range with a launching area, green and practice area with sand traps.

There are regular group golf activities 6 days a week:

more than one activity to choose from at least 3 days a week. You may choose to participate in socially oriented competitive golf activities several times a week.

Our hours are from 7:30 am until dusk. The golf course is closed to the public on Tuesdays (Women’s Day) until 3:00 pm, Wednesdays (Men’s Day) until 3:00 pm, and the second and last Thursday of each month until 1:00 pm.

For a Mixed Couples Tournament. Green Fee players are always welcome when the course is not closed and they can walk or rent carts. To maintain an enjoyable speed of play, caddies are required. A caddie can serve up to four players. You are not allowed to play alone, however, the professional staff will try to include you in a friendly group.

While our dining facilities are generally limited to members and their guests (especially for club dinners and parties), Green Fee players can use them to enhance their golf experience. We also offer golf apparel and merchandise for sale in our Pro Shop.

The Chapala Country Club golf course has a 9-hole layout. However, the creative placement of the two sets of tees gives players of any caliber the satisfaction of playing a full round of 18 different holes.

The course has four sets of tees: blue, white, red and yellow. There are several distinctive features of the course: A double green for holes 3 and 12.

We request that you comply with our dress code policy.

No t-shirts, sun tops, camisoles, shorts, cut-offs, tennis shorts, gym shorts, bathing suits or denim running shorts are allowed on the driving range or on our golf course.

For men, all shirts must have a collar and sleeves unless it is a commercial collarless golf shirt.
